Illinois Chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects (I-NOMA) is excited to share an exciting and enriching opportunity for your 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students this summer.
The 2025 Project Pipeline Summer Camp is a four-day immersive experience designed to introduce middle school students to the world of architecture, design, and community impact. The camp runs from Wednesday, July 31st to Saturday, August 3rd, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily, and takes place at the iconic Crown Hall at the Illinois Institute of Technology (3360 S State St, Chicago, IL 60616).
One of this year’s highlights includes a guided tour of an active construction site, offering students a firsthand look at how ideas move from the drawing board to the real world!
Camp highlights include:
- Creative, hands-on design projects
- Mentorship from diverse architecture professionals
- Exposure to a college campus environment
- A live construction site visit
- A fun, supportive space to explore design and problem- solve. It’s a wonderful way for young minds to explore future careers and build confidence in a new and inspiring setting.
