Attention 8th grade Parents
DEADLINE to accept your High School offers is TODAY Friday,May 14th at 11:59 p.m. Please log into your GoCPS account on the Student Dashboard, next to the student’s name, click ‘View 2021-2022 Application Results.’ This will take you to the site where you can view your results. Near the name of the school if it lists accept/decline that is where you accept the offer. If you cannot log in to your account, click the “Forgot Password” button on the site.
PLEASE NOTE: Your address listed on the student’s dashboard determines your neighborhood school. If you DO NOT accept an offer by Friday, nor apply to a school in the second round application your child will automatically be attached to the neighborhood school.
I highly recommend you accept a first round offer. Second round application window is only the schools that have availability (typically the charter schools). The application window for the second round opens Monday, 5/17- Friday, 5/21.
I can not stress enough that you can accept an offer in the first round but if you apply and receive an offer in the second round. You automatically forfeit your first round offer.
