You are invited to join South Loop Elementary School for our FIRST EVER 5k and 1 mile run/walk and contribute to the Race to $2020 Donation Drive! Even though we cannot be together in person, we are still a community supporting each other and our students.
5k and 1 mile Run/Walk
Learn how your family and friends can participate and register TODAY! This is a virtual event which can be completed anywhere and anytime between November 25-29, 2020. Register by November 22nd to receive an event exclusive swag bag. Early Bird pricing available until Saturday, November 14th.
The first 250 participants will receive a race packet including a race bib, a finisher medal, an iron-on patch, a neck gaiter to show off during the race, and a $10 off coupon for Fleet Feet Sports. All participants will be entered for a chance to win a limited number of $25 gift cards for Fleet Feet Sports.
Race to $2,020 Donation Drive
Through the Race to $2020 Donation Drive, we aim to raise funds to help with school programming and professional development, which looks a little different in these challenging times but are more important than ever. The Race to $2020 will replace the event we usually have in February, which allows the kids to keep active and the school to get support from the broader school community.
Please encourage your friends and family to sponsor your student’s grade with a donation! Donations received through Sunday, December 6th will be counted towards the Donation Drive. Rewards will be given to all students in each grade that reaches their goal for the Race to $2020.
This virtual fundraising event is brought to you by Friends and Family of South Loop School, Inc. in collaboration with many volunteers, and thanks to donations from Fleet Feet Sports. All donations collected through the registration page will go directly to Friends and Family of South Loop School, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose sole mission is to raise funds to support South Loop Elementary School.
