This past weekend the combined team of South Loop Elementary & NTA wrestlers participated in the first competition of the CPS Score Wrestling Season. This is a new sport for SLES this year and it takes a lot of guts to step on a wrestling mat. Our wrestlers did so with great confidence and also showed amazing sportsmanship! Our wrestlers had a combined 14 wins & 6 losses.

In addition, we have some amazing news, both Halle and Hudson Latino competed at the Illinois Sectionals this past weekend. With Hudson’s 2nd place finish and Halle’s 3rd place finish, both have now advanced to the Illinois State Finals this upcoming weekend in Peoria! Good luck to you both!
