Check Grades & Attendance

The CPS ParentConnection allows you to view your child’s grades and attendance online.

The portal provides the ability to:

  • *UPDATED* New! Parents can now report absences on portal! Parents no longer need to call the school or send in a written note. TUTORIAL ON HOW TO REPORT ABSENCES
  • Access updated attendance, assignment data, Progress Report, and Report Card Grades. (Kindergarten information is attendance only)
  • Set notifications (via email and/or text) for student absences or grade fluctuations from a point you identify.
  • Send a note to your child’s teacher.
  • Manage your contact information for CPS to have on file.

The number of entered assignments may vary among teachers.

To create a CPS ParentConnection account, you will need:

  • Your child’s CPS ID number
  • A school-issued personal identification number (PIN)

Visit the school’s office to obtain your child’s CPS ID and/or PIN.

Note: To ensure the security of your child’s records, PINs are not issued over the phone under any circumstance.
