Andrew Rhodes currently serves as assistant principal at South Loop Elementary. Mr. Rhodes is driven by a desire to provide the best possible educational experience for all of South Loop’s Lions and to help prepare students for success in high school, college, and beyond.
A South Loop resident, Mr. Rhodes worked as a middle and high school English teacher before stepping into administrative roles. At the conclusion of his residency, Mr. Rhodes was thrilled to accept the Assistant Principal role at South Loop where he continues to learn every day from one of CPS’s most celebrated principals.
In his spare time, Mr. Rhodes is the Chief Academic Officer for Teachers Supporting Teachers, a non-profit group that seeks to help teachers around the city have a lasting impact on their schools. He also enjoys spending free time with his wife and daughter, going to concerts, and trying out the many wonderful restaurants Chicago has to offer.
