My name is Ms. Martin and this is my 27th year teaching! I have been at South Loop for 17 of those years. I live in the neighborhood so South Loop School is my home away from home. I have 2 daughters who attended South Loop from Kinder all the way to 8th grade. Quinn is now a freshman at Arizona State majoring in Engineering and is a goalie for the women’s hockey team! She just graduated from Jones. Keiran is my artist at Lincoln Park High School in the Visual Arts program. She is a sophomore and got straight A’s last year and perfect attendance! I am so proud of my girls. I love teaching 1st grade. They are always so adorable! I tell them I am their “other mother” and they love it!
