My name is Ms. Martin and this is my 30th year teaching! I have been at South Loop for 20 of those years. I live in the neighborhood so South Loop School is my home away from home. I have 2 daughters who attended South Loop from Kinder all the way to 8th grade. Quinn is a Senior at Arizona State majoring in Engineering and is a goalie for the women’s hockey team! Keiran is a Freshman at Illinois State majoring in sculpture and psychology. I am so proud of my girls. I also have 2 bonus daughters in 5th and 8th grade at South Loop!
I love teaching 1st grade. They are always so adorable! I tell them I am their “other mother” and they love it!
