Hello South Loop families! My name is Sarah Bretz and I have taught Pre-K at the branch building since 2024. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Illinois State University and a Master’s Degree in Education from Webster University. I have taught in a variety of Early Childhood grades and programs since 2006 with my passion being Pre-K! I enjoy the enthusiasm and playfulness the young ones bring to the classroom. It is my privilege to get to be a part of one of their first school experiences, a role I take very seriously as I encourage their love for learning. When not at school my son and I, along with our dog Eddie, enjoy taking advantage of all Chicago has to offer. We try to spend as much time as possible outside exploring, trying new activities like kayaking and cross-country skiing, attending sporting events, concerts, etc. I am thrilled to be part of the South Loop community and look forward to a great year together!
