Congrats Mr. Coppola- ISBE Teacher of the Year Finalist

We are excited to announce that Mr. Coppola was a finalist for ISBE’s 2019 Teacher of the Year award. This is such a great honor for Mr. Coppola and we are so proud of him. Mr. Coppola has been with South Loop since 2014 as our English Language Arts teacher for 7th grade. He builds strong relationships with students through a peaceful and trusting environment. Mr. Coppola challenges his students to engage in intellectual discussions and encourages them to try their best in order to go beyond all expectations. He has an amazing way with students that is inspiring for anyone who has the opportunity to walk into his classroom.

We have great PRIDE in Mr. Coppola and his accomplishments and are so grateful that he is part of our South Loop family. Congratulations Mr. Coppola!
