South Loop students spread holiday cheer — all the way to Mariano’s!

Mr. Zettl and his advanced band members surprised shoppers and staff with a very cool pop-up performance at Mariano’s in the South Loop on Friday, Dec. 21. Camouflaged in the meat aisle, they performed holiday classics and lent a festive ambiance to people’s afternoon errands.

Where might the band’s next pop up performance be? You never know, but we look forward to wherever their next creative gig is. Stay tuned!

Earlier in the week, Girl Scouts Troop 25709 (current 3rd Grade Brownies) spread holiday cheer with holiday music for their second annual tradition they hope continues! These cuties performed outside the main building’s entrance and then walked from school to Mariano’s, caroling all the way to keep the holiday spirit alive in everyone!

Thank you band and Brownie members, as well as Mr. Zettl and Brownie leaders, for bringing warm smiles to our special community.
