Dear Parents,
High school connection (formerly known as “Freshmen Connection”) supports students in their transition to high school by introducing them to staff and classmates, familiarizing them with graduation requirements and academic expectations, and equipping them with study strategies and stress management techniques.
High school connection programs will be held between June 25 – July 31, 2025. When you accept your GoCPS offer then that high school will contact you in regards to the specific program schedule dates, and other pertinent information.
I highly recommend each of you to complete the attached interest link here HSC Interest Form.. Completing this will allow the high schools to determine further program details. High school connection is not mandatory. However, I highly recommend that your child(ren) attend whatever part of the program. So that they do not feel overwhelmed with being in a new building on the first day of school.
Hopefully, you all have received an email or text notification that high school offers will be available on March 14th. As we get closer to that date I will send an e-blast announcement in regards to selecting an offer.
