19th Annual Silas Purnell College Expo on Saturday, September 27, from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 pm at Tuley Park Field house, 90th & King Drive.
This signature event connects high school students with admissions, financial aid, scholarships, and career opportunities from a wide range of colleges, trade schools, and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and more. We are also encouraging 8th graders and their parents to attend to get a head start for their child’s academic success.
In addition, two educational seminars will be offered:
– Know Your Rights: Teenagers- presented by Antonio Lee, President, Cook County Bar Association
– Money for College- presented by Ada S. McKinley Community Services and the Illinois Student Assistance Commission
