We have extended our Thanksgiving Drive to Thursday, November 16th for one final push to meet our annual goal of providing 100 families with a Thanksgiving meal this holiday season.
Please drop off (or have delivered) the following food items listed below to the Preschool, Primary or Middle School Building
- Preschool- can of corn
- kdg- can of green peas or green beans
- 1st – box of stove top stuffing
- 2nd – box of mac and cheese
- 3rd- box of mashed potatoes
- 4th – can of sweet potatoes
- 5th – can of gravy
- 6th – box of cornbread mix
- 7th – can of corn
- 8th can of green beans
- You can also donate a small turkey, chicken or small ham
South Loop Elementary offers an exciting organization for student leadership named National Junior Beta Club. As a Beta member, students are responsible for bettering their school, community, and world. This is done by engaging in community service activities within their community or other communities in need.
Beta Club is partnering with Jordan Cares in the Roseland Community again (7 th year) to bring a holiday dinner and holiday cheer to 100 families. The Beta Club is asking for your commitment to giving this holiday season.
Items can be dropped off and/or delivered to the attention of your child’s teacher any day between November 2nd- November 15th.

The classroom in each building with the most donations will earn a pajama, movie and treat day.
