A Note of Gratitude From Principal Shelton

Dear South Loop Families & Community,

I would like to send a heartfelt thank you to everyone who traveled back to the 80’s to support South Loop School’s annual Spring Benefit.  I am so grateful to our Spring Benefit Committee and all the planning and dedication that went into organizing this year’s fundraiser. Our goal was to raise $50,000, and we surpassed that, raising 149% of our goal! This was by far one of our most successful fundraisers since my time began at South Loop School.

This year alone we have had made South Loop fundraising history! We raised over $25,000 during our Fall Fun Run, $27,000 in scholastic dollars (to purchase new books for the school) from our Scholastic Book Fairs, and we are just $225 shy from raising $75,000 from the Spring Fundraiser. There are not enough words to describe how grateful I am for your continuous dedication to our school. It is truly amazing how our community has come together to support the needs of our students. I am in awe of the relationships our families have built outside of the school and of the way you all rally together with PRIDE.

If anyone would like to help round out our raised funds to $75,000, visit our fundraising page to make any final donations this school year.

Again, I am so humbled by your generosity, and I cannot thank you enough for your unwavering support.
