Around the World is an annual event at South Loop Elementary School that showcases the rich cultures and diversity among our students and families. Students are encouraged to wear their cultural attire and clothing that represents their native countries to school that day to kick off our celebration. Students who do not participate are still required to be in uniform.
This year’s event will be held in-person at South Loop Middle on Thursday, NOVEMBER 13th at 6pm. Learn about the different cultures and heritage that makes up our school. Some of the cuisine and performances tomorrow night is sponsored by Friends and Family of South Loop. This is a school-wide event and all families are welcome to participate and attend!
If you are unable to participate, please consider donating a dessert or case of water. You can drop off or have delivered to the Middle School Building (1601 S Dearborn Street) on November 13th anytime between 8:30 am -6:00pm
