Attention 6th-8th Grade Girls: Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!)

Attached is information about YEA Young Entrepreneurs Academy.

YEA will take young ladies through the process of brainstorming a business idea, writing a business plan, pitching the plan to investors (think Shark Tank), obtain your startup funding and launching a real business.  You will start as a student, finish as the CEO of your own company!

If you are a young girl between grades 6-12, and are interested in starting a business, please apply! South Loop students have been participating in this program for the last three years. One student even made it to the final competetion for an APP she created for children suffering from autoimmune deficiency.

YEA is more than building a business; girls will meet successful women and be inspired to plan for their future.  They will learn to think outside the box, while building their confidence and self-esteem.

Application – register at www.yeachicago.org .  The sooner a girl applies, the sooner she can be interviewed and accepted.  Early applicants receive $100 of $695 tuition. Must apply and be interviewed before June 30 for $100 discount.

Class will be held at 1871, 12th Floor of Merchandise Mart, Tuesday 5-8pm October 2020– March 2021.
