Every fall, Female Strong hosts an all-girls chapter of The Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA! Chicago) – a six-month after school program hosted in downtown Chicago for 6th-12th grade young women to build the skills and confidence needed to thrive in business and life. They are currently accepting applications for the 2026-2027 cohort.
The Young Entrepreneurs Academy has developed a program that teaches students how to select, research, vet, develop, and market a business. From idea generation to pitching their businesses for startup investment funds, this six-month course is truly transformative. Each YEA! Chicago cohort kicks off its Wednesday after school classes downtown in October and culminates in a SharkTank inspired Investor Panel pitch competition.
