South Loop Elementary offers an exciting organization by the name of National Junior Beta Club to develop student leadership. As a Beta member, students are responsible for bettering their school, community, and world. This is done by engaging in community service activities within their community or other communities in need.
South Loop School’s Beta Club will support our Newcomer Families this year to bring holiday cheer to families. The Beta Club is asking for your commitment to giving this holiday season.
Items can be dropped off or delivered to the- attention your child’s classroom teacher:

Primary Building 1212 S. Plymouth Ct 60605 or
Middle School Building 1601 South Dearborn 60616 building.

We are asking for donations of new and/or clean gently used children and adult size winter coats and a donation of one toy per classroom.
Each grade level is also asked to donate:
Preschool- 1 package of undershirts-children size
Kdg – pair of socks
1st- pair of gloves
2nd – winter hat
3rd – scarf
4th- 1 package of undershirts-children size
5th – 1 package of undershirts -adult size
6th – pair of gloves
7th- pair of socks
8th- winter hat
Additional items: Adult and Children boots, Adult and children gym shoes, blankets, and children size: navy blue jogging pants, solid white long sleeve t-shirts and/or polo shirts
