Bullying/Title IX Presentation, Tech Parent Control Resources and Students’ Rights and Responsibility

Parents,

The following Title IX/Bullying presentation was presented to all 4th – 8th grade students at the beginning of the school year. It is important for students to know acceptable school behavior related to bullying and the consequences for inappropriate sexual behavior and bullying.  CPS employees are required to report any incidents of bullying and inappropriate sexual behavior. These incidents will automatically trigger an investigation by the Office of Student Protection who provide the school with their next steps. It is important that all students and parents understand this policy and its procedures, and their child’s rights around this policy. Our goal is to create a healthy and safe school and learning environment for all students.  Please review this presentation and have a discussion with your child(ren) about its contents.
