CPS is trying something new and has combined several surveys into one SY25 Spring Survey. It is their hope that this will help simplify the process and make it easier for as many families to share their feedback.
The SY25 Spring Survey covers several important topics:
- Capital Planning: This section has been known as the “Capital Planning Survey” and is given annually. You will provide your perspective on school building needs. Results will be used to prioritize school building investments that would have the most positive impact on your children and/or school community.
- Parent/Guardian Survey (School Climate): This section has been known as “My Voice, My Schools” and is given annually. You will provide your perspective on aspects of your school’s climate and culture such as safety and leadership. Results will be used to monitor current school improvement efforts and provide direction for future improvements.
- Title I Parent and Engagement Policy– South Loop School is not a Title 1 school, therefore you can skip this section on the survey.
When initializing the survey, it will ask you which school you will be completing the survey for. Based on your response, it will allow you to select which surveys you are eligible to complete. Because South Loop School is not a Title I school, you will have the option to complete the Capital Planning and School Climate surveys only.
You can fill out the Spring 2025 Survey at cps.edu/districtsurveys. The survey will close on May 17 at 11:59 p.m. Each section of the survey should take 5–10 minutes to complete. Please note that each section should be done in one sitting, because your data won’t be saved if you close your browser. However, if you only have time to finish one section, you can always come back later to complete another section. The survey is available in Chinese (simplified), English, Polish, Spanish, Tagalog, Ukrainian, Urdu, and Vietnamese. All survey responses are anonymous.
Your feedback is important and helps us to improve our school. We appreciate you taking the time to complete the CPS Spring Surveys
