CJML Math Team Finals
This past Saturday, the South Loop Math Club competed in the finals of the Chicago Junior Math League citywide contest at Whitney Young High School. Our 5th and 6th grade Lions won 2nd place for the team round, and 3rd place overall for the entire year. In the individual contest, Anthony Berni and Zeydi Almassi won 5th place, Luca Krizmanic won 4th, Sid Geedipalli won 2nd, and Sammy Petersen-Brown took home the first place medal. In 8th grade, Daniel Wu swept the competition by winning 1st place for the third time this year! Daniel and Sammy also received 1st place awards for the highest overall score for the entire year. Way to go South Loop Lion Mathletes!
Citywide Wrestling Championship
7th Grader Kasper Jones is our City Champion in wrestling! 8th Grade Halle Latino also placed 2nd place.
