It is Literacy Week! While we will partake in fun literacy activities this week, there are many ways to spread the love of reading outside of school.
Book Fair
Don’t forget to visit the book fair this week!
Family Shopping at the Book Fair – Families will be permitted to shop only during after hours, except for during Literacy Day on 12/10 (Primary Location) and 12/11 (Middle School Location), where guests are invited to join us from open to close! The fair closes at 5pm. There is no after hours on Friday 12/12.
UNPLUG at home!
To help promote the love of literacy we encourage families to unplug at home! Attached are some family activities to try in lieu of screentime. Below is a BINGO card challenge to try!
Literary Character Day!
Wednesday 12/10 for PreK and Primary; Thursday 12/11 for Middle School.
Students can dress up as their favorite book characters. Students will participate in fun activities centered around the joy of reading
