- Attendance/Tardy: Why punctuality is important for your child. Research shows that children with consistent school attendance learn more. If children are to fully benefit from the many learning opportunities, regular school attendance is vital. A student who is 10 minutes late every day will miss 30 hours of instruction during the year, definitely, a significant loss in the teachable moments that you can’t get back.Children who are late or absent can never recover what is most important: the class discussion, the explanations by the teacher, the opportunity to participate in circle time and share experiences and conversations with their friends. Regular attendance at school is also important in promoting social development. Developing positive attendance and timekeeping habits at a young age will serve the child well throughout his/her life.
- Uniform Policy: Solid White top with sleeves and navy blue bottoms only. Jeans can be worn only on Fridays with a purple shirt to stand against bullying. No open toe shoes. Crocs are not allowed. Solid grey top and solid navy blue bottoms for P.E. On PE days only, students can wear a grey sweatshirt/hoodie during inclement weather only. Non- PE days, students must wear a solid white or solid navy blue sweater/hoodie, sweatshirt, and/or blue jean jacket.

There are 9 support staff supervising the morning playground. Two support staff members are assigned to the gates on Plymouth Court and Federal Street, one support staff member is assigned to the breakfast door and the remaining staff members are assigned to the playground area.
