Greetings Parents,
The South Loop 2024 Winter Concert performance will take place Wednesday, Dec 18, 2024 from 1:30pm-3:30pm in the South Loop gymnasium/stage 1601 S. Dearborn. The performance is open to all families to attend and help us celebrate!
All 4th-8th grade BAND students should be dressed in concert attire (all black), NO SWEATS, MIDRIFF SHIRTS, or T-SHIRTS WITH WRITING. They may wear holiday sweaters, reindeer antlers, Santa hats, etc.
4th grade general MUSIC class:
Candy Cane themed outfits: White/Red clothing
5th grade general MUSIC class:
Holiday headgear, holiday sweater/green/red shirt, blue jeans, sunglasses
6th and 7th grade MUSIC classes: Wear something colorful. Something that represents the holidays!
8th grade stage crew: Dressed in all black NO SWEATS, MIDRIFF SHIRTS, or T-SHIRTS WITH WRITING. They may wear holiday sweaters, reindeer antlers, Santa hats, etc.
A “Stage Crew” badge will be given to you, and must be worn at all times.
Please remember that concert performances are required as part of their music/band grade. If your child is not able to attend the performance, please let Ms Calhoun/Mr. Zettl know prior to the performance date so arrangements can be made to cover their part and have an alternative assignment to take place of the grade.
