Read Across America Week is celebrated from March 2 to 6 — it begins on the birthday of the beloved author, Dr. Seuss. The entire month of March, in fact, is dedicated to reading.
The theme for Read Across America Week 2025 is “Create & Celebrate a Nation of Diverse Readers”. This theme has been used every year since the National Education Association (NEA) took over the event.
