Has your child been accepted to an Academic Center? If you have accepted a spot, please inform the school as soon as possible for planning purposes.
The main office in both the primary and middle school buildings are open. from 8:00-1:30pm daily.
- Sixth grade refunds for Outdoor Ed trip are ready for pick up.
- Remaining 8th grade graduation packers are ready for pick up. These are needed for High School Registration
- All students not enrolled for summer school can now return all hardcover textbooks, chromebooks, chargers and IPADs. Please tag all items with a tape label with the student’s first and last name.
CPS is still providing meals. You can pick up food from 9-1 daily.
Attention 5th-8th Grade Parents (from 2019-20 school year): As we reflect on the past year and all our school community has experienced, we want to hear from our students about what it means to them to be a South Loop student. We ask that all students in grades 5-8 during the 2019-2020 school year take a few moments to go through the survey and provide answers reflecting their lived experiences at school. We as South Loop teachers and staff want to reflect and think critically about how we can better support our students. Students will receive a link in their CPS email from Ms. Garcia in the next couple of days. We would like them to complete the survey by July 24th. Please ask your child to check their CPS email for the link and to complete the survey.
