Spring is right around the corner, and we have two exciting fundraising events coming up for our South Loop Elementary community!
Walk-a-Thon + Chicago Fire Game
Saturday, May 2
Walk begins at 4:00 PM (Primary Playground to Soldier Field)
Chicago Fire game kicks off at 7:30 PM
Throughout the month of April, students will collect pledges from family and friends as part of our annual Walk-a-Thon pledge drive. Then on May 2, we’ll come together to celebrate their efforts with our annual walk to Soldier Field, followed by the Chicago Fire game.
It’s a fun and meaningful way to show Lion Pride, bring our community together, and raise funds that support our students and school programs.

Parents, faculty, and community friends are invited to our signature adults-only night out! Enjoy food, drinks, entertainment, and an exciting auction — all while raising critical funds to support programs and resources for our students.
Volunteers Needed
To make these events a success, we’re looking for volunteers to join two key teams:
Raffle Basket Committee
Help coordinate classroom contributions and assemble fun themed baskets for our raffle.
Auction Committee
Help secure exciting items and experiences from local businesses and community partners.
