Greetings Parents,
The South Loop 2025 Spring Concert performance will take place next week Wednesday, May 28, 2025 from 1:30pm-3:30pm in the South Loop gymnasium/stage 1601 S. Dearborn. The performance is open to all family and friends to help us celebrate!
All 4th-8th grade BAND students should be dressed in concert attire (all black), NO SWEATS, MIDRIFF SHIRTS, or T-SHIRTS WITH WRITING.
4th grade general MUSIC class: All black
5th grade general MUSIC class: All black
6th grade MUSIC class: All black/African colors (red, black, green)
7th grade MUSIC class: Dressed in Jamaican colors: black, green, gold (yellow). Sunglasses are encouraged.
8th grade stage crew: Dressed in all black NO SWEATS, MIDRIFF SHIRTS, or T-SHIRTS WITH WRITING.
A “Stage Crew” badge will be given to you, and must be worn at all times.
Please remember that concert performances are required as part of their music/band grade. If your child is not able to attend the performance, please let Ms Calhoun/Mr. Zettl know prior to the performance date so arrangements can be made to cover their part and have an alternative assignment to take place of the grade.
