All ages and levels of experience are welcome to join the team.
Practices will be held at the Primary Building every Tuesday from 4-5 pm starting on December 10th.
**K-3 students who are not in Right At School aftercare will have to come back for practice. K-3 aftercare students will be called to the chess room before 4 pm and checked back into aftercare. Middle School students can walk over with the team and a parent volunteer, or with parental permission they can arrive on their own, but will have to be picked up at the Primary Building at 5 pm.**
All students are eligible to compete in the free monthly Chicago Chess Foundation tournaments and are encouraged to compete in at least two tournaments during the school year. The tournaments are on Saturdays, 12/7, 1/18, 2/TBD, 4/26, 5/TBD.
