The South Loop Elementary School uniform consists of solid navy-blue bottoms and solid white tops.
- Bottoms: Solid Navy blue uniform pants, shorts, capris, leggings, skirt or dress to mid- thigh. Black bottoms or and jeans are not permitted.
- Tops: Solid White top with sleeves. Sweaters and sweatshirts may be white or navy blue. The only permitted logo is the South Loop Elementary School logo or motto. Tank tops, logos outside of SLES logo, stripes, polka-dots, name brand labels etc. are not permitted.

- Outerwear & Accessories: Outerwear (coats & jackets), tights, socks, shoes and hair accessories are at your discretion. Shoes should be appropriate for school activities, including recess. Flip flops, open toe shoes & skate shoes are not permitted. Students must wear closed-toe shoes at all times. Crocs and Yeezy Slides that are similar to Crocs are not allowed
The South Loop Elementary School P.E. Uniform consists of solid navy-blue bottoms and solid grey tops.
Your child will be assigned a particular day of the week for gym class. The mandatory South Loop Elementary School Gym Uniform consists of solid navy- blue shorts or solid colored navy- blue sweatpants and solid colored gray top only:
P.E. Uniform: A South Loop Elementary School P.E. uniform is required on the student’s assigned gym day. Gray SLES shirts, Blue shorts, Gray sweatshirts, and Blue pants can be purchased on the school’s spirit shop: https://southloopshop.com.
Gym/Tennis Shoes are required for gym. Students will not participate in P.E. without the required P.E. uniform or gym shoes. Gray hoodies can be worn on P.E. days only during winter months only.
