South Loop is pleased to provide a virtual executive functioning workshop for K-8 parents on the topic of Executive Function on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 from 5:30-6:00pm. The workshop will be led by Mrs. Cambern and Mrs. Heneghan.
What is Executive Function? This workshop seeks to explain why these skills are an increasingly important aspect of every child’s education, especially in today’s ever-changing world and academic landscape.
We will provide a broad overview of the various components of executive function including definitions, and provide actionable tips and strategies that parents can begin to employ at home immediately. Participants will leave not only with a deeper level of understanding of executive function, but also with some interventions to implement for the executive function domains.
