Welcome back to a new school year South Loop Families,
It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of introduction. My name is April Hunter, and I am the newest member of the administrative team at South Loop Elementary. As the Resident Principal, I’m here to learn and grow under the leadership of Principal Shelton and staff. Resident Principals are future school leaders who receive support with their developments to become a Principal. I come to you with over 17 years of experience as an educator for Chicago Public Schools. It is my privilege to be a part of your child’s educational journey this academic year.
I believe that education is a collaborative effort, and I am committed to working hand in hand with you to support your child’s growth and success. I feel that together, we can create a dynamic and enriching learning environment that nurtures well-rounded individuals who are equipped to make a positive impact in todays’ society.
